You can have an appointment with a qualifed tax preparer and in several cases leave with the finished return completed. La Greca offers serveral ways to prepare returns at the clients convenience. Different methods to complete tax returns we offer to our clients are appointmentsby specific times, drop off's, or mail in's. With different ways to get your tax return done, makes it easier for our clients. Appointments for the accountants are by specific times but, as always, we are always willing to accomodate everyone to the best of our ability. Drop off's serve as a time saver. If you would like to drop off your important tax documents with no appointment doing so would be available as well, with no appointment. If you have an appointment you can drop off important tax documents in advance so the accountants can prepare your work ahead of your actual appointment time. If you prefer to mail in yourreturn and not sit with one of our accountants, it will be processed and mailed back to you usually within 7 days. We accept e-mails and faxes of documents to help speed up the preparation. At the time of payment, La Greca & La Greca takes all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Once again, making it easy and effortless to please our clients! Our prices are affordable & reasonable based on the time of the tax prep!

JOHN R. LA GRECA L.P.A. was the founder of the firm that was to become La Greca & La Greca. After serving in the US Army during WWII, he continued his education at New York University and began a small accounting practice in 1951. Beginning with a few tax clients, the firm established a strong reputation for accuracy and client support. Being a man of vision and seeing the future of the profession in the early 1980's, Mr. La Greca was one of the first to introduce computerized tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. The practice grew rapidly during this period.
RICHARD J. LA GRECA is the current President of La Greca & La Greca. While working on his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1974, he joined his father John, in the accounting firm known as La Greca & La Greca. After graduating college, Richard entered the Corporate Accounting field and gained much experience in his roll as Accountant and later became a Controller. In addition, Rich developed an expertise in Real Estate as both a New York State registered Mortgage Broker and Licensed Real Estate Broker. "Because I was always advising clients to invest in Real Estate, I thought it would be an asset to understand the mortgage and Real Estate industry." Rich joined the firm full time in the 1980's and has been at it's helm since then. He is a sought after counselor to tax attorneys on estate taxes. He is also a consultant to various companies.
PAUL DI TOMASSO graduated college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He was at the top of his class in Barnard Baruch College which is noted for its outstanding accounting curriculum. Paul joined La Greca & La Greca during the late 1990's as a Sr. Accountant. Because of his outstanding work ethic and leadership he is now responsible for Corporate Accounting as well as preparing individual tax returns. He brings a wealth of accounting expertise to the firm's clients as well as always there to ensure his clients are well taken care of.
DENISE LA GRECA C.P.A. (retired) joined La Greca & La Greca in 1980 while pursuing her Accounting Degree. She holds an MBA with a specialization in Accounting and has completed course work towards her Doctorate. As a college professor, and a NYS Society of CPA Education Committee Member, she developed an excellent reputation as a knowledgeable individual within the accounting field. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and Florida and served as a tax law expert for the firm.
SAMANTHA CARLONE graduated Cum Laude as an undergrad for her academic skills and outstanding leadership. She then went on to pursue her education and now holds a MS in Public Accounting. She started with La Greca & La Greca in 2017 and joined the company as an Accountant. Samantha has big goals ahead of her that La Greca keeps pushing her for!
JOHN R. LA GRECA started working at La Greca & La Greca in 2014. While growing up, he always found Real Estate & Accounting to interest him as he was around this kind of environment of successful people. With this, John now does Accountants Receivables and Payables at the company his grandfather founded -La Greca & La Greca. John will be getting his Real Estate License and plans on following in his father, Richard's footsteps.
CHRISTINA VESSECCHIA joined the La Greca team in 2018. With her diligent work skills, Christina is the Executive Assistant to the President of La Greca & La Greca. Christina holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science. As she is gaining experience in the world of business, Christina is pleased she joined the La Greca & La Greca team!
